But, how are you?!?

Just a little Sunday update ...

This weekend I've been feeling nauseated, having painful joint aches -- been having a hard time sleeping, profound fatigue, and lots of fuzzy brain "moments". heh heh heh.

Of course, with all that comes some depression. I find the inability to do what I used to, things that I used to just take for granted, as very frustrating. Sometimes the challenge is learning to accept the reality of the situation and accordingly adjust.

Anyway, Russ is taking very good care of me. I am soooooo lucky!!!

Thanks for checking in. :-)

Hello there! I can't see where you have said how long you have had PBC. I am going on nine years now, and am in advanced stage three. I am 52, but that doesn't make me any wiser. I was terribly upset to my stomach for about two full years, but that has passed. I don't choose to be bitter about the cards that have been dealt to me. (I'm not saying you are). I made it to one meeting in Portland, but unfortunatly there was only one person there, and I haven't been back since.
I take 900 mg of urso. I take mine in the evening - all at once. Been doing it since day one. I was a shift worker and wasn't always up throughout the day. Be glad to help you, listen to you, or give you my answers to your questions.
I wish you well with your health issues. e-mail any time.

Thanks Betty!

The doctor is thinking I have had it probably 10+ years -- however, it was just diagnosed at the end of January 2007.

I am taking 500 mg URSO twice a day. I heard taking at night, all at once, makes more sense. I am going to be seeing the liver specialist and will ask about switching.

Thanks for your wonderful words .. I appreciate your offers also. :-)
